Registration information for the 50th Anniversary Celebration


 Register and Pay for 50th Anniversary PC DR Celebration and other activities.

See Agenda Page for the specifics of what is included in Celebration.  All Social Events are included in registration fee.  Check the details before registering for the Celebration and the Excursions/tours.  Hotel registration is separate.

Please fill out all items on the registration so FDR has all the data needed.  (If you are a couple with the same last name registering via PayPal the box will make room for two first names.  If you are two people with different last names registering via PayPal please register separately so we get the records and nametags correct.)  If you live outside the USA and do not have a Zip/Postal Code just enter a "space" or 0 to keep the computer program happy.

Regular registration (prior to Jan 9th) = $370; Late registration = $395

RPCVs who returned within the last 10 years (2001-2011) pay only $185

Regional Excursion Deposit

Regional Excursions require $50 deposit per person and full payment by January 9, 2012!

* Final cost information expected by October 30th.  Covered costs will vary but are expected to be modest and include hotel, some meals, and most transportation. Excludes transportation costs for individual site visits.  We seek to keep costs under $250 for two night excursions (less if for 2 people)
* See individual tour description pages for dates and details.
* Deposit will be refunded if required minimum participation number not reached by January 9, 2012; group excursion will be cancelled.

CHOOSE YOUR EXCURSION  when you register (see descriptions on separate web pages).  If you need more time to choose, you can register for these at a later date but before January 9, 2012!

Independent tours:  All expenses are on your own but we ask that you pre-register so we can help you plan.

Please fill out all information requested under "Conference Participants" so FDR has all the data needed.  Next make your chices and complete the "Registration Order Form", a list of the individual Celebration and tour offerings with their costs and deposits.  This will total and then you move to our PayPal page where-

  *  Without a PayPal accout, you need to complete your personal info a second time along with card payment method data.
  *  With a PayPal account, you simply log in and your payment will be recorded.

You will receive a statement from the registration page and from PayPal via email.

Note:  This conference is being sponsored by the Returned Peace Corps Volunteer organizations Friends of the DR and Fondo Quisqueya, and all registration fees go to the Friends of the DR.  The Peace Corps is not responsible for ticket sales or registration fees relating to this conference.

The Jaragua has a special page with our rates that will keep track of our people.  The hotel rooms provide for our use of the meeting facilities so please register by this route at the Jaragua.  You will find cost information and be able to register for the Jaragua hotel rooms at the bottom of the
